Clinical disclaimer

Thrive Family Co. is parenting education from a licensed clinician — it is not therapy, diagnosis or crisis care, and it does not replace individualised professional support.

01

Education, not treatment

Thrive Family Co. provides evidence-informed parenting education. Courses, lessons, printable worksheets, resource handouts and Thrive Concierge responses are educational resources only.

Nothing here is therapy, counselling, psychological assessment, diagnosis, or medical advice, and nothing here is tailored to your family's specific clinical circumstances.

02

No clinical relationship is created

Purchasing a course, subscribing to Thrive Essentials, using the Thrive Concierge, or contacting us does not create a therapist–client, counsellor–client, or clinician–patient relationship with Sian Trombley or with Thrive Family Co.

Sian's clinical registration governs her direct clinical practice, not this educational platform.

03

When to seek professional support

Please involve a qualified professional — your physician, a registered therapist, your child's school team, or a paediatric specialist — if any of the following apply.

  • Your child's distress is persistent, worsening, or significantly affecting school, sleep, eating or friendships.
  • There are concerns about self-harm, suicidal thoughts, disordered eating, trauma or abuse.
  • You are managing a diagnosed condition and need an individualised treatment plan.
  • Your own mental health is suffering and you need support of your own.
04

In an emergency

If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number now. In the US and Canada you can call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. In the UK, call 999, or call 116 123 for Samaritans.

Our AI tools will surface local crisis resources when risk language appears, but they do not contact emergency services for you and are never a substitute for real-world help.

05

Thrive Concierge limitations

The Thrive Concierge and the teen companion are AI systems. They can be incomplete, oversimplified, or occasionally wrong, and they cannot assess risk, diagnose, or provide crisis care.

Treat their responses as a study partner for the course material — and bring anything significant to a qualified human.

06

Individual results vary

Strategies taught here are drawn from established, evidence-informed approaches, but every child and family is different. We make no promise of a specific outcome, timeline, or behaviour change, and you remain responsible for the decisions you make for your family.

07

Third-party resources

Books, apps, podcasts and tools recommended in resource handouts are independent of Thrive. Some links may be affiliate links, which never changes what we recommend or what you pay. We do not control or warrant third-party content.
