Emotional Coaching for Parents
The language that grows lifelong skills — a small vocabulary, used well.

Inside this course
Emotional coaching is what turns a hard feeling into a life skill. Rooted in the work of John Gottman and adapted for modern families, this course teaches you the five-step coaching sequence — noticing, connecting, listening, naming, problem-solving — and the everyday language that raises children who understand themselves. You will practise scripts for tears, jealousy, disappointment and pride, and finish with a household coaching plan that fits real life on a Tuesday, not just a Sunday afternoon.
You'll finish with
- Understand the four parenting emotional styles
- Practise the five-step emotional coaching sequence
- Coach small feelings before they become big storms
- Retire dismissing and disapproving language

You have not just learned a technique. You have learned a language — and languages, spoken daily and warmly, shape the inner voice of the person your child becomes.
