Understanding Parental Burnout
Recognize the signs, understand the causes and begin responding with compassion instead of shame.

Inside this course
Parental burnout is not ordinary tiredness and it is not a character flaw. It is what happens when the demands of caregiving outrun the resources available to meet them, for long enough that the body and mind begin to conserve. This course helps you tell the difference between stress, chronic overwhelm and burnout; understand how depletion shows up emotionally, cognitively, physically and relationally; and map the specific conditions contributing to your exhaustion.
You'll finish with
- Distinguish everyday parenting stress from chronic overwhelm and burnout
- Recognize the emotional, cognitive, physical and relational signs of depletion
- Identify the specific conditions maintaining your exhaustion
- Map your personal warning signs and highest-pressure times
